Issue take-down notice com.kabum.fdroid

Both, via mail and the forum we have been informed about a f-droid fork that is in the playstore and is serving ads: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kabum.fdroid. I think this violates both our GPL3 license (if it shows ads, they have modifed the sourcecode) and Google's TOS. Could someone with a Google Developer account take actions? @eighthave ?

Mail:

I've seen this on Google play recommend apps and I'm not sure you endorse this since there's ads in this app. Please check it out to avoid any type of scam. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kabum.fdroid

Forum:

My reply:

If that app is indeed a fork and using adds, its violating both, our fdroidclient license (since they dont provide the source code for their ad-modifications) and Google's ToS which have a non-compete / no-appstore clause.

To upload designs, you'll need to enable LFS and have an admin enable hashed storage. More information
