partial data set configuration, shared data?
Some of the machines in our cluster have an external network interface and others do not. The config.ini file has a single setting for the datasets:
;download_path = ./busco_downloads/
I would like to keep the top two levels (probably) of the lineage tree in an NFS directory so that it is visible on all nodes, but not the more specific sets because they will take up a lot of space. (With Busco 3 only metazoa was kept on hand.) If I change that to "/some_NFSpath/busco-4.0.2/busco_downloads" then it will be readable on all nodes. However if a user on one of the machines which does have a network interface wants to use the fully automatic method they won't be able to write there because the software account owns that directory. Nor do I want to make that directory world writable. I don't see a command line option though that would override, like:
Is there some way to have one's cake and eat it too?
