Settings Page: Account for content that's overflowing to the bottom of the options page
Background
As shown in https://gitlab.com/eyeo/adblockplus/adblockplusui/issues/85#note_79788128 we may need to account for content that is overflowing the options page's main content to the bottom. Since we only have a very small padding there, this causes the height to expand and potentially scrollbars to appear and tooltip texts to not be readable.
Therefore we should increase the bottom padding size to account for such cases.
Alternatively, we could put more work in how we show the tooltip to either (a) manually allow developers to specify whether the tooltip should open up to the top or the bottom or (b) automatically detect in which direction there's more space available and open the tooltip in that direction.
Ideas:
- Automatically detect in which direction there's more space available and open the tooltip in that direction (preferred choice)
- Increase the bottom padding size to account for overflow
- Manually allow developers to specify whether the tooltip should open up to the top or the bottom
Goal
Display tooltips in the Settings page within the page without overflowing outside of the page.
What to do
Update tooltip behavior to automatically detect in which direction there's more space available and open the tooltip in that direction - as outlined in the specifications: https://gitlab.com/eyeo/specs/spec/merge_requests/130
