Unexpected behavior from popup filters

Environment

ABP 3.9.5 (earlier versions are not affected)
Chrome (Firefox is not affected)

How to reproduce

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Make sure EasyList is subscribed, enabled and up-to-date
  3. Open a new tab
  4. Type ads.com and hit enter

Observed behavior

Tab is instantly closed

Expected behavior

Tab stays open
