Issue report: How might we tackle screenshots of partially sighted users who are unable to see what has been captured [Accessibility]
Background
With the new issue reporter, all submissions have to include a screenshot of the issue. This is important for the filter list team because without a screenshot it is nearly impossible to identify and solve the problem.
Users are able to black out private data on the screenshot before submitting it. However, this tool is not keyboard accessible. This becomes problematic for partially sighted users, who rely on screen readers and keyboard navigation. For these users, they won't be able to blackout any potential private data on the screenshot.
Goal
Inform users with screen readers that when submitting an issue report, they are required to share a screenshot of their page, and they should ensure that the screenshot does not contain any personal data. Users should be notified up front, so they can choose to exit the issue reporter if their page does contain sensitive information.
What to do
Add the following text that is only detectable by screen readers.
To help us better understand the issue, a screenshot is required when submitting an issue report. Depending on the website you're currently on, the screenshot might contain personal information. If you're uncomfortable submitting a screenshot, please email your issue to support@adblockplus.org.
