Firefox 66 checkbox issues in Advanced tab
Observed issue
Options page, advanced tab, customization section.
Checkboxes for:
- Show number of ads blocked in icon
- Show 'Block element' right-click menu item
- Show 'Adblock Plus' panel in developer tools
fail to show checked state (after being unchecked) unless the Options page is refreshed.
It seems that although the checked state is not shown in the UI after clicking on the unchecked checkbox, the changes do get applied in the background (for example, icon shows the number of ads blocked).
Checkboxes are showing correct state in the UI after the page is refreshed.
Additional info
Checkbox for 'Show useful notifications' behaves correctly.
All other toggles/checkboxes in the Settings page seem to work as expected.
Environment
ABP 3.5 (current release)
Only reproducible in the version 66 Firefox (released 19th march 2019).
Checkboxes behave correctly in Chrome, Opera and older versions of Firefox.
Steps to reproduce
- Open Advanced tab in options page
- Uncheck any of the checkboxes mentioned as problematic in the 'observed issue' section (= the first 3)
- Try to check the the checkbox
==> notice that nothing happens in the UI and there are no errors in console
