This repository contains the means to create all kinds for misconfigured or invalid x509 certificates for testing purposes. Often, such tests are not done because the certificates eventually expire and someone would have to recreate the - admittedly complex - Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) to re-issue the test certificates.

This is a presentation about all the things that need consideration when building a Certificate Authority (with OpenSSL). On push - the presentation is built via CI/CD.
