CSS class helpers for viewport relative element visibility state in pages
When interaction observer and/or polyfill comes online it'd be great to provide a set of CSS helpers to aid creation of animating/UI/UX features based on location relative to viewport.
Questions
-
class naming convention -
which would be useful/practical? - top/bottom of site visible... both visible (short pages)
- just-out-of view
- leaving view (exit peek)
- entering view (peeking)
- 'already seen', current session?
- 'already seen', prior session?
- location in viewport, top/bottom/center?
- 'fully in view' might be a gotcha for smaller viewport sizes
