Temperature Sensor Outputs Garbage Data
I am using a Labjack T7 on a Raspberry Pi 2. I am trying to read temperatures from a K type thermocouple (https://www.conrad.ch/de/p/b-b-thermo-technik-0644-1401-09-oberflaechenfuehler-0-bis-250-c-fuehler-typ-k-121453.html?refraesh=true#accessoriesSection) connected between AIN0 and GND using the labjack functions on hvl_ccb.
I keep getting garbage values for some reason but when I check with kipling software on my laptop, the readings are fine. Therefore it seems to be a bug in the code or mistake in my usage of it. Either way I could use some support and I would appreciate it a lot!
To start off, I am not particularly clear on what the two inputs below are:
param cjc_address: modbus register address to read the CJC temperature param cjc_type: determines cjc slope and offset, 'internal' or 'lm34'
How do I convert pin numbers to addresses and what exactly does cjc_type mean?
Segment of the code:
init a thermocouple and read the value ain_tc = 0 labj.set_ain_thermocouple(ain_tc, thermocouple="T", cjc_address=0, cjc_type="lm34", unit="C")
Thanks in advance!
