why the rtgem_intersectSphere function in the sphere.cu is used instead?
what I was walking through those examples, in basicTest I found that the intersection Program assigned the receiver geometry is this rtgem_intersectSphere rather than the default one from Nvidia,I want to know is there any specific reason for this? I found the code in that function is tricky to understand, it seems like the discriminant it solved didn't comes from the ray-sphere equation.
