Fails to build from source on most architectures other than amd64

Hi,

I've packaged open-adventure for Debian. Version 1.2 built fine, but version 1.4 failed to build on most architectures in Debian:

The problem seems to be that setting a negative seed value fails. I've not yet investigated the bug, just forwarding it to you. Do you have a solution for this?
