NSGA-II multi-objective optimization - EnergyPlus (heating and cooling demand)
I have the modeling of the buildings that I am going to do the evaluation of the heating and cooling demand finished in Sketchup and coupled to EnergyPlus, but doing the optimization with the NSGA-II, the cooling optimization results are very low, compared to a manual energy simulation. So I think there is something wrong at the time of processing the cooling optimization. The heating, yes, is correct data.
Here are the results, the cooling goes from 5.2 kWh/m².y to 0.8 kWh/m².y, but when I do the manual simulation in EnergyPlus, with the 4º orientation the cooling result is greater, less than the reference result but it does not decrease as much.
Initially, the optimization looks for the best solar orientation to reduce the demand for heating and cooling simultaneously. It will look for this field in EnergyPlus:
But to help reduce the demand for cooling, it was assigned to EnergyPlus that the windows open when the outside temperature is at 20ºC and (to ventilate) and close at 25ºC (to prevent heat entry):

Thanks in advance
