Display georeference pictures from same folder?

Porting over the option from gpxpod, it would be nice if there was a check-mark somewhere to enable displaying georeferenced pictures from the same folder as the .gpx file.

A usecase for example would be to have a bunch of georeference pictures in a folder and then create a new .gpx with waypoints at the location of selected pictures. This could be done either manually, or via a button in the picture popup "convert location to waypoint" or such.
