Marker icon change & different marker icons on same map?

Would it be possible to have an option to change the displayed default icon to something other than that blue large pin-mark? This one takes up a lot of screen-space and overlaps with other markers close by.

Nice would be also if there was an option to choose different kind of icons or colors of for different sets of markers. I think this is supported by the .gpx format?

Otherwise, great start so far, works very nicely.
