Issue regarding max ranges

On the anker 45W PSU, the firmware lets me select up to 5A when I am in 12V mode, which I think should not be possible!

Actually it should be up to 2.25A if using the variable PSU and up to 3A if using the fixed one. My system should cap the 2.25A and stay in variable mode in order to let the PID track 12V precisely

Warning, maybe the PSU lies and is fine provising such an amount of power?
