Add -V argument to print software version and copyright info
This MR adds a
-V argument to the software to print its version information with minimal formatting.
Example of usage:
exhale.exe -V exhale - ecodis extended high-efficiency and low-complexity encoder version 1.0.3 (x64, built on May 3 2020) - written by C.R.Helmrich Copyright 2018-2020 C.R.Helmrich, project ecodis. See License.htm for details. This software is being made available under a Modified BSD License and comes with ABSOLUTELY NO WARRANTY. This software may be subject to other third-party rights, including patent rights. No such rights are granted under this License.
If we don't pass the -V, the software will print normally.
This is useful if an external tool wants to read the version information with minimal effort.
