Any possibility of keeping a Changelog and using tags/releases ?

Currently there is a lack of uniformity in downstream repos regarding ingen's version info. See repology badge for details:

Would it be possible for the project to have a changelog (example: https://keepachangelog.com/) and also to utilize tags or even releases ? Thanks in advance!
