Plugin ruins `.csproj` formatting

I'm using this plugin as part of semantic-release to update the <Version> listed in my project's .csproj file. However, this plugin garbles my .csproj's formatting. See this diff on GitHub for more details.

At this point in the commit history, the value of the indent property was 0.
