unresponsive buttons and loading since 116 update randomly then works fine until it happen again

since updating to 116.0.0 (Build #21160020) fdroid, frequently but not always i get issue where no tabs will load at all. i tried clearing cache, force closing app and reopening. Then an hour or so later it starts working again. This happens on both lte and wi-fi and other apps internet work fine during this time so it is not my network.

what happens is i open Mull and try to open a bookmark or type into search bar anything using different search engines and the pages never load.

After a little while when trying to drag down to reload the loading icon shows for a second and disappears. For pages that i might have had open before, tapping on anything does not work. then an hour or so later it is as if nothing happened and Mull works fine again.

version 115.2.1 had no issues

i am not able to downgrade in fdroid and uninstalling and installing a previous version would make lost all bookmarks and settings as i do not see a backup and import option.
