When unpacking the source code with the following command:
$ tar xvf dianara-v1.3.7.tar.gz
you get a bunch of errors like this:
tar: Ignoring unknown extended header keyword 'SCHILY.fflags'
Here you have a log: tar.log
I am trying to build the Debian package but lintian is complaining about these errors. Could you tar the source code without these headers?
I've just updated the 1.3.7 tarball to http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases/dianara/ (I assume that's where you get the tarball).
The new file uses the same name and the new size is 893 KiB. It might take a few hours for the mirrors to sync the new version.
Let me know if this works better =)
This tarball is not showing errors but has two files that differ from the previous tarball:
Here is the diff: dianara-1.3.7.diff
Since the version has not changed, tarball contents should be equal.
Yeah, those 2 files differ because I took the chance to update the Hebrew translation from a file that was sent to me just a little bit late (but done for this version). So it's a known change. I hope Debian's process can be made to ignore that :p
