Implement RFC 3986 Section 6 URI normalization.

Implementation

  • Case normalization (scheme, host to lowercase)
  • Path segment normalization (remove dot segments)
  • Preserve IPv6 address case

Future Enhancements (v0.2.0)

  • Percent-encoding normalization
  • Default port removal
  • Empty path normalization
