Friends and enemies are too random and unrealistic
According to the backstory, the three initial crew members are frozen in stasis for $LONG_PERIOD and then thawed out when the base seed arrives. So presumably these three could be friends with each other or whatever. But invariably immigrants will start showing up who are already friends of these three. No immigrants should be friends with them.
Raiders should not have friendships with crew. Or it should be extremely uncommon. Raiders should be automatically added as enemies for anyone they engage in a fight with. So if the raider is captured and becomes part of the crew, there is likely to remain strong animosities.
Incoming immigrants usually are usually listed as having friends and enemies with other station personnel. This should be highly unusual (unless specified by the event itself). If multiple immigrants arrive together, it is appropriate that they be friends with each other.
I've seen fights break out between two people, one of whom is listed as friend of the other, which is strange. Then once the fight is over their friend status hasn't changed. I should think fighting should mostly just occur between enemies or sometimes non-friends, and generally result in the two becoming enemies. There could be exceptions if either of the adversaries is drunk, on security duty, or if they have macho-ish personality traits.
If someone gets into a fight, and one of their friends sees it, that friend should either try to break it up or maybe get involved themselves. It would be awesome to see a bar room brawl break out... ;-)
