dekko2 freezes reproducible on simple ASCII text mail

I get every morning from one of our Linux development hosts a simple ASCII text mail produced by our nightly build process. When I open this mail in Dekko2 (0.1.8-21b84), it tries to present this in a new screen but freezes. Only the Subject: is written on top of the screen. I could provide the mail in mbox format for debugging.

Context

Expected Behavior

The mail should be presented.

Actual Behavior

The UI of Dekko2 freezes. Dekko2 must be restarted.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Start Dekko2
  2. Pick up (tap) the mail in question. The folder list is overwritten by the new screen. Dekko2 frezes.

Your Environment

  • Dekko version used: 0.1.8-21b84
  • Desktop environment (e.g Unity7, Unity8, GNOME):
  • Operating System and version: 16.04 OTA-5
