Feature Request: Remove notification when mail has been read

I'm wondering, if it would be possible to remove a notification for a mail that has been read (possibly on a different device).

My use case scenario:

• Run thunderbird with NTFNTF on device A (e.g., linux mobile phone)
• Run any mail client on device B (e.g., mu4e on laptop)
• New mail arrives --> NTFNTF notifies user on device A
• User reads mail on device B and NTFNTF removes notification on device A (for that mail)

I don't know if this is feasible with the current architecture.
