anon.hash still fails if input contains backslash characters

This issue has been reported before in #423 (closed) and supposedly resolved since the associated tickets have been closed (see #423 (closed) & #423 (closed)).

However, that is still not the case. I tested the latest version of psql anon and removed my custom workaround function and I'm still observing the same issue:
