Something is going wrong
What to do if you think you have a bug.
It is useful to make backups.
Create an opml export (and a backup - Set Preferences -> "experimental") of your actual podQast (via Discover -> Export)
Create a clean setup e. g. nothing is working anymore
cd ~/.local/share mv harbour-podcast harbour-podcast.org
(You can also use a file browser to move the old directory away. After your tests you can then delete the new created
harbour-podcast and move
harbour-podcast.org back later to recover the old behaviour if you want - otherwise you can delete harbour-podcast.org if you do not need the old stuff)
Start podQast and select/subscribe the podcast which does not work for you. Do you still have problems?
If not: import your exported opml file.
Recover: I want to restore an old backup
First: Do a clean setup like before but do not start podqast Second: Create a new directory and do a restore of the old backup. Looks like this:
cd ~/.local/share mv harbour-podqast harbour-podqast.org mkdir harbour-podqast tar xzf ~/podqast-thedate...tar.gz
then start podqast. It will reload all your podcasts in queue and you are on backup position. If everything is fine, you can delete the old directory:
cd ~/.local/share rm -rf harbour-podqast.org
What happens if you delete the podcast feed and get it back (via discover)?
Repot a bug
Best: Create a ticket here in gitlab and tell which podcast makes problems.
You are able to self-debug?
Here is shown you how to analyse a feed.
