What is the bug behavior?
GoFOSS added full translation for French & German. Unfortunately, the search functionality mixes those languages. This reduces the usability for readers in either language. Adding more languages would presumably make it worse.
What is the expected correct behavior?
Searches should only return results in the currently selected language.
What are the steps to reproduce the bug?
- Browse to https://gofoss.today
- Search for the word
Firefox - See mixed results in all three languages
What are possible fixes?
The issue seems unresolved. While Material for MkDocs' built-in search plugin supports multiple languages, search results will appear in multiple languages. See also here
