cryptsetup-reencrypt encryption always fails when --reduce-device-size is set to 64M
cryptsetup-reencrypt allows reducing device size up to 64M, but encrypting a filesystem always fails in this case since create_empty_header() prohibits header backup being larger than 16M. I try to remove this 16MB constraint and the encrypt / decrypt process still work. Is it truly necessary to limit the maximum size of header backup to 16MB?
Thanks.
