Use more inconspicuous filenames.
There has been criticism of how files produced by Cryptocam look. At the moment, the generated filenames are UUIDs (a long string of random characters), with
pgp extensions. These might look suspicious if the device is inspected even by a non-technical person.
Obviously filenames are irrelevant if a device ends up in digital forensics, but making video files look like innocent system files could definitely be useful to avoid raising concerns with e.g. Border Guards looking through a device.
Maybe names like
853_fkgcache.bin would be more appropriate?
Looking for input on how this should be solved.
