Users 'tccc', 'aenc', and 'novob' have reported a SyntaxError and type error in their deposit cart
Users 'tccc' (DOI prefix 10.33797), 'aenc' (DOI prefix 10.3908), and 'novob' (DOI prefix 10.25205) have all reported a SyntaxError in their deposit cart that is preventing them from making deposits. Perhaps this is just a legacy issue that was in their account before Mike deployed the recent fix that was causing these SyntaxErrors.
I am unable to reproduce the SyntaxError myself, but I do see a type error in the accounts when trying to deposit their articles.
I get the same behavior for all accounts: when I opened the accounts, there were articles - that had been accepted - that were not automatically clearing from the deposit cart after the submission. My first step was to try to re-deposit the articles in the cart - that produced a type error message like in the screenshots below. Then, I manually removed all of the articles from the deposit cart and then resubmitted them in smaller batches (for user 'aenc' they had 86 articles hanging in their cart).
I have asked the member for more details about the article or DOI that was causing the Syntax Error they reported. Below is the console log and screenshot for the type error I am seeing.
