File browser resets when a file is deleted

Summary

When deleting a file in the File Manager the entire file tree resets closing any folders that you are currently in, what this means is if you are deleting multiple files the user journey is greatly impacted as every time a file is deleted you have to navigate back to the directory you were in.

What is the desired way of working?

When deleting a file in the file manager it should retain your current directory state.

Priority/Severity

  • High (This will bring a huge increase in performance/productivity/usability)
  • Medium (This will bring a good increase in performance/productivity/usability)
  • Low (anything else e.g., trivial, minor improvements)
