Assertion failed when trying to load .gg roms

Here's what I get, when I try to load very popular .gg rom files (Sonic The Hedgehog 1, 2, and the likes): (2 kind of different assertions).

Assertion 'newindex >= 0 && newindex < (int) flist->size' failed at pulsecore/flist.c:93, function stack_push(). Aborting.

Assertion 'pa_atomic_load(&(s)->_ref) >= 1' failed at pulse/stream.c:328, function pa_stream_ref(). Aborting.
