Description of the bug
For Elden Ring specifically I am unable to create a profile that automatically activates when I start the game. I do not seem to be able to reproduce this bug with any other game.
Reproduction
Simplified, easy to follow steps to reproduce the bug:
- Create a profile with "Executable" set to "eldenring.exe" and CPU "Frequency governor" set to "Performance"
- Start Elden Ring
Actual result: CPU behaves normally and clocks down regularly.
Expected result: CPU should be set to max frequency (in my case for 2600x somewhere between 4100 to 4200 Mhz)
Additional information
The same can be observed for GPU "Performance mode" set to "Fixed - High".
I tried profiles with the same settings for Dota 2 ("dota2), Risk of Rain 2 ("Risk of Rain 2.exe") and Apex Legends ("R5Apex.exe"). In all cases I observe the expected behaviour. I also tried creating a profile for the EAC launcher of Elden Ring ("start_protected_game.exe"), which works aswell, but the profile is obviously only active for the startup. Using "top" I made sure that "eldenring.exe" is the correct command.
If I can provide any additional information let me know.
