Wikdict search plugin no longer working

I faced the issue of wikdict translation and definitions not working in the previous version (1.1.3 I think) so I updated to the latest (1.2.1) but the issue persists. It simply says no results found. Yet when I look up the URL for the search which it returns, I'm able to see the wikdict result page in the browser. Meanwhile, the other search providers work fine. I had tried clearing cache. I also re-installed from F-droid but still no luck.
