Upload faild socket hang up

I was trying to deploy a site on commons host and received following error.

Also I did not find any information for domain naming conventions, whats available, whats not acceptable etc. It would be helpful to include that info as well. Let me know if you need help in writing content, if you can provide me with data I can come up with merege request for it. :)
