Code of Conduct
We are committed to providing a friendly, safe, welcoming environment for all, regardless of gender, age, sexual orientation, racism, nationality, citizenship, language, physical appearance, ableism, classism, whorephobia, education, marital status, status as a parent, religion (or lack thereof), or other such factors. We do not tolerate discrimination or harassment in any form. Unacceptable Behavior Oppressive behavior. Any conduct that demeans, marginalizes, rejects, threatens, or harms anyone on the basis of identity, background, ability, or other personal or social characteristics. Any and all manifestations of sexism, misogyny, homophobia, transphobia, biphobia, racism, xenophobia, ableism, classism, (...). Harassment. Deliberate intimidation, stalking, or following; taking photographs or recording without consent; disruption of events; unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention; defamation. Destructive behavior. Damage, theft, defacement, and redistribution of private property or data, physical or digital. Exclusionary actions. Denying certain participants opportunities to share views, skills, and other contributions; engaging in favoritism; creating or reinforcing an inequitable environment. Hate speech. Harmful or prejudicial communication. Slurs, ethnic stereotypes. Posting and circulating content that condones or encourages the above behaviors.
Unacceptable behavior from any community member - including sponsors and those with decision-making authority - will not be tolerated. Enforcement Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately. Anyone violating these rules may be penalized or expelled without warning at the discretion of Community Organizers.
If anyone is subject to or witness of unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, they are urged to notify a Community Organizer as soon as possible.
If anyone feels that they have been falsely or unfairly accused of violating this code of conduct, they should notify Community Organizers with a concise description of their grievance; it will be reviewed in accordance with existing governing policies.
