Allow deletion and formatting of any unmounted partition
I have added a second disk to a server which happens to have Centos installed it, so it has a boot partition and an LVM partition. Neither are mounted but I cannot delete the partitions to bring the disk into use. lsblk
gives:
[root@gateway-h ~]# lsblk
NAME MAJ:MIN RM SIZE RO TYPE MOUNTPOINT
sda 8:0 0 1.8T 0 disk
├─sda1 8:1 0 1G 0 part /boot
└─sda2 8:2 0 1.8T 0 part
├─clearos-root 253:0 0 1.8T 0 lvm /
└─clearos-swap 253:1 0 3.8G 0 lvm [SWAP]
sdb 8:16 0 465.8G 0 disk
├─sdb1 8:17 0 1G 0 part
└─sdb2 8:18 0 464.8G 0 part
├─centos-swap 253:2 0 3.8G 0 lvm
├─centos-home 253:3 0 411G 0 lvm
└─centos-root 253:4 0 50G 0 lvm
I should be able to bring sdb back into use through the app.
