Shortcuts not saved in the chosen format

Since the latest QuickCut version 2.5 (that fixed a previous issue where the add-on stopped working completely) the created shortcuts to webpages are not saved in the chosen format (see attached screenshot): except for the OSX (.webloc) format all other formats result in an HTML (.html) shortcut. For example: if the Windows (.url) format is chosen, the output result is EXAMPLE.html and not EXAMPLE.url Re-installation of the add-on does not fix this issue. Firefox version 112.02
