Make Board-at-Desk work with other Hypervisors (Qemu/KVM, VMware)

Issue Background

KernelCI & LAVA VM use VirtualBox.

Issue description

Users need the setup running on a different Hypervisor such as QEMU/KVM and VMWare

This ticket will be closed when the KCI/LAVA VM runs on any hypervisor
