kernelci is too sensitive to network setting

Issue Background

As part of a demo I booted the VM and checked that kernelci displayed the builds bridging to the codethink wifi. I then moved the laptop to elsewhere in the office, disconnecting ethernet and the build page would no longer display.

Issue description

This needs investigation and workarounds found or reporting upstream. It also requires documenting the current network settings on the wiki, within the feature page.
