Chef Infra Server collecting data

There is a feature in Chef Infra server about data collection:

Chef Infra Server captures license usage data under the Progress Chef license agreement. This process runs in the background, it doesn't require user approval or intervention, and it can't be disabled. All information is collected and utilized pursuant to the Progress Privacy Policy which is available through the Progress Privacy Center.

Does CINC retains this feature and is Progress Chef having any control of the collected data? I’m concerned about confidentiality and the control that Progress Chef might have over the use of CINC.
