People used post-its instead of remixing
Now I’m not sure if I correctly explained the post-its, but after everyone did their first creation, people were standing at the remix table and, as usual first off mostly hesitating, and then only using post-its to give suggestions instead of actually remixing.
This might just actually be a symptom of "not wanting to destroy other people’s work". But I needed to specifically say smth along the lines of "ok, let’s move onto actually remixing now – writing down concrete suggestions, making sketches, etc".
What I also heard was:
What’s the difference between what you write on the post-its and what you write on the paper?
So I’m thinking for next time, depending on the audience, to actually not use the post-its as they add a layer of complexity which can possibly lead to confusion.
