Stewards Sale:
* <span dir="">The Stewards Sale (formerly the Directed Group Sale) ensures that those critical to the culture of Burning Man, crews for theme camps, art installations, mutant vehicles, Black Rock City infrastructure providers, and groups supporting </span>[<span dir="">sustainability</span>](https://burningman.medium.com/burning-man-project-2030-environmental-sustainability-roadmap-c79657e18146)<span dir=""> and </span>[<span dir="">R.I.D.E.</span>](https://burningman.org/about/about-us/diversity-radical-inclusion/)<span dir=""> efforts gain access to tickets. This program does not have an application process.</span>
* This sale requires group leads to invite their members for access to the sale. Those invited are guaranteed access to buy tickets during the 48-hour purchase window.
* <span dir="">Each invitee may purchase up to two (2) tickets and one (1) vehicle pass in this sale.</span>
* <span dir="">Approximately 35,000 $475 tickets and 15,000 $140 vehicle passes will be available in this sale. Vehicle passes may not be purchased in excess of one vehicle pass per two tickets.</span>
* All items and orders purchased through this sale are subject to the taxes and fees listed below.
* <span dir="">Participation in the Stewards Sale requires pre-registration through </span>[<span dir="">Burner Profiles</span>](https://profiles.burningman.org/)<span dir="">.</span>
* Those who buy tickets in the Stewards Sale will be prevented from registering to buy in the Main Sale, STEP, and the OMG Sale.
Community Action Initiatives Tickets:
* We’re dedicating several thousand tickets to support work in important areas of [environmental sustainability](https://burningman.org/about/about-us/sustainability/) and various forms of community diversification (including [<span dir="">R.I.D.E.</span>](https://burningman.org/about/about-us/diversity-radical-inclusion/)<span dir="">,</span> under-represented art forms, and international inclusion, etc.)
* These $475 tickets will be distributed along with Vehicle Passes later in the summer.

The Secure Ticket Exchange Program (STEP) facilitates the safe return and resale of face-value tickets that have been purchased directly from Burning Man Project. STEP provides a hassle-free, secure way of buying and returning tickets while avoiding scammers, counterfeits and scalpers, and keeps tickets circulating within the community. When details are finalized, we’ll post them on the 2022 STEP page, which will be linked here.
## Ticket Aid Program
Application Period: March 16, 2022 at 12pm (noon) PDT to May 18, 2022 at 12pm (noon) PDT (or earlier)
The Ticket Aid Program offers 5,000 $225 tickets to people with qualifying applications. Awarded applicants will need to pay for their tickets online between July 25, 2022 and July 28, 2022. They are also eligible to purchase a $140 vehicle pass at the same time if needed. Applications are reviewed in the order they are received and awards are issued on a rolling basis. The application will close as soon as we’ve received as many applications as we can review or on May 18, 2022, whichever comes first. We will not be able to give advance notice of the application closing early so please submit your application as soon as you can. ## Ticket Needed List Protocol
1. Sign up on the ticket needed [form](https://forms.gle/MgAiN26WsfcfeRKm9). Your name goes on a list of people who need tickets.
1. When a ticket becomes available, the name on the top of the list will be contacted.
1. It's first come, first served.
1. If you have paid [dues](dues), you can buy the ticket from the seller
1. If you have not paid dues, the next name on the list will be contacted.
1. Dues go up right before Main Sale and again after we receive Placement, so it's advantageous to pay them early.
