Is this project dead? AcceptNecessary broken for 9 months (since it came out basically, never worked)

I know there is a nice project with support for vue3, but if you have to stick to vue2 we still need to use this one.

I see open pull requests from months ago, and no response to most things. Are both the owner and all maintainers inactive now? The worst part is that the acceptNecessary feature was released buggy and the owner of the repo didn't even log in after that release (In fact the last activity by the owner is like 3 days before the release).

The fix to accept necessary is literally just adding "cookies." in one place where a method is being called, and it has been pointed out several times. Anyone with maintenance access can fix that at least and release a version?

Otherwise, I would be happy to do it myself if I had the access.
