EegArtifactChannel algorithm

Hi, I'm trying to use EegArtifactChannel and would really like to know what kind of algorithm is used behind the artifact detection? The issue right now is that to produce an artifact one needs to really put some muscle effort to do it. It doesn't detect blinks or jaw clenches accurately.
