Look at moving BCHN's packaging for Ubuntu from launchpad to snap
BCHN currently uses launchpad.net to build packages for Ubuntu. Ubuntu has introduced Snaps, which are an alternative that works slightly differently (perhaps better in some regards like we would be able to use our Gitian-generated build as input to this packaging).
However, we may want to first explore it as it also has drawbacks and seems not keenly supported by e.g. Linux Mint.
I am considering attaching a bounty to this for someone to implement a working Ubuntu snap packaging based off our published Gitian release packages (at Github). This could be a prototype fork of our https://gitlab.com/sickpig/packaging/ repository with a folder for snap packaging code.
