Suggestion to tag releases

Just want to check, would there be interest in creating git tags for each new release (or each time the version number increases)?

This could be useful in case Epicyon is packaged in a distribution (like Debian, Guix, etc) to ensure that it matches to an upstream release. Without tags, the packaging would be based on latest commits to main branch, which are likely to be in-between 2 releases.
