thinTrackTime with large data sets
Hi Bart,
I just got asked by a student about the thinTrackTime
function. Playing around with it I realized that it gives an error when the individual has a relatively large amount of points. Here an example:
library(move)
creds <- movebankLogin()
st <- getMovebankData(74496970, login=creds, animalName="DER AR446") # 79016 locations
th <- thinTrackTime(st, interval = as.difftime(20, units='mins'), tolerance = as.difftime(2, units='mins') ,criteria="closest")
I get the following error:
Error in length(n) == 1L :
C stack usage 7972020 is too close to the limit
Error during wrapup: C stack usage 7975220 is too close to the limit
I know its not exactly an error of the function, but it's still not working. Not sure if and what solution there may be. Just wanted to let you know that there is this potential issue.
