invalid password / permission error
Good day
I keep getting an invalid password/permissions error when trying to access MoveBank data via R move (& also via the MoveBank API)
Not sure how to give a reprex without giving username/password, but happy to share this privately if required to reproduce.
This works fine:
auth <- movebankLogin(username="******", password="******")
getMovebankStudies(auth)[1:10]
[1] "1000 Cranes. Africa" "1000 Cranes. Georgia & Armenia"
[3] "1000 Cranes. Kenya" "1000 Cranes. Mongolia"
[5] "1000 Cranes. Russia. Altai." "1000 Cranes. Russia. Caspia."
[7] "1000 Cranes. Russia. Common Crane" "1000 Cranes. Russia. Crane Homeland"
[9] "1000 Cranes. Russia. Crimea. Taman. Azov." "1000 Cranes. Russia. Muraviovka."
getMovebankID("Kruger e-obs ear tags", auth)

getMovebankAnimals(study="Kruger e-obs ear tags",login=auth)

This doesn’t:
getMovebankData(study=1233598831, login = auth)
Error in getMovebank("event", login = login, study_id = study, attributes = attribs, : It looks like you are not allowed to download this data set, either by permission but maybe also an invalid password. Or there is a sensor for which no attributes are available. In addition: Warning message: In read.table(file = file, header = header, sep = sep, quote = quote, : not all columns named in 'colClasses' exist
neither does this:
getMovebankData(study=1233598831, login = auth, animalName = "B9/16 (8615/308F7B)_1243688359")
I have confirmed my password, and even changed it. I am a data manager of this study, so should have permission.
