Indicate precise memory overheads

There is currently no way to figure out exactly how big an allocator-backing buffer needs to be when the element size is fixed and the number of elements has an upper bound. This is due to the memory overheads introduced by the allocators themselves and/or the data structures that use them to store those elements.
